Rudy's BBQ When I'm feeling meaty, I order a quarter pound of cutter'schoice and some cole slaw. A Texas favorite, you'll walk out full and want to stop at
the next one you see on the highway.
Lucy's Fried Chicken I love love love those grits. I'm sure the
chicken is succulent, crisp, and famous for a reason.

Root Cellar Cafe & Brewery The first and only brew pub in San Marcos,chefs Megan Turbeville(P.M.) and Bryan Oden (A.M.) are tearing it up
over there. Try the Cellar Burger if it all looks a little too overwhelming,
but even if you spin around blindfolded and point to something you'll be
making a stellar choice.

Thai Thai The only Thai food you're likely to find for another 30 miles,
stop in for a meal under flourescent lights. Prices are reasonable, portions are
large, and everything is always delicious.

Valentino's Pizza You'll want to order 2 bacon ranch pies,
one to eat while you're there and 1 to go. Wheat crust available!
